| There is something to be said about mastering a particular skill, and people are often dubious of the “Jack of All Trades, Master of None” types. The federal government identifies its IT workforce staff as “IT Specialists” but there also is a place for IT generalists and it all comes down to an individual’s comfort zone and ability to find balance. CIOs, IT Directors and managers are comfortable operating in the unknown space that IS management. | |
