W. Marc Whitford is a veteran consultant and Master Scheduler with GovernmentCIO Consulting. Mr. Whitford has over 30 years of professional IT and management experience.  Prior to joining GovernmentCIO, Mr. Whitford served in a number of management positions supporting the public sector. He is a retired US Naval Reserve Officer who rose from the enlisted ranks to serve as a Lieutenant Commander. He has a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering / Computer Science from Clarkson University and Military training including US Navy Nuclear Power School; Naval Flight Officer School; and Advanced Electronic Warfare Training.
