Al Sloane joined the Benefits.gov Program in September of 2011. The Benefits.gov (formerly GovBenefits.gov) Program has its mandate in the President’s Management Agenda to provide citizens easy, online access to government benefit programs. Sloane currently oversees all aspects of the Program, including relationships with 17 Federal partner agencies, the Benefits.gov website, which houses more than 1,000 benefit programs, and the outreach and governance efforts. Sloane brings more than 13 years of IT experience to the Benefits.gov Program Manager position.
